Independent Domestic Violence Advocates Team (IDVA)
Our IDVAs support people of all genders if they need immediate crisis or safety advice and focus on reducing risk. They act as a primary point of contact in relation to high risk cases, reports to the police and criminal court cases.
They also give advice on all legal family matters (Non Molestation Orders; Occupations Orders; Forced Marriage Protection Orders; Civil Injunctions under Protection from Harassment Act; and Children Act Orders in relation to who children live with and have contact with).
All our IDVAs are legally trained and are currently hold, or are working towards, a nationally accredited qualification.
