Assistant Housekeeper (*Female)

 Part-time (15 hours)

Salary £10,467 p.a.  ( FTE £24,424)

Leeds Women’s Aid (LWA) is the largest women’s charitable organisation in Leeds and provides services for victims of domestic violence and abuse, honour-based violence, forced marriage, trafficking, stalking and harassment and is the lead agency for two consortiums, Leeds Domestic Violence Service and Women’s & Girls Alliance Leeds.

LWA are looking for an Assistant Housekeeper to help clean and prepare void properties for reletting speedily and efficiently; maintaining high standards of repair, health and safety and cleanliness across LWA refuges and dispersed properties.

This position is offered on a fixed-term basis, with the continuation of the contract depending upon the availability of funding. While efforts are always made to secure ongoing financial support, the role is dependent on external funding sources.

You will need:

• A good understanding of basic health and safety standards
• The ability to clean and maintain high standards of cleanliness 
•  The ability to use on-line systems for monitoring and ordering supplies etc.
