Our Children & Young People’s Hub: Building A Brighter Future
We are delighted to announce that we have successfully reached our fundraising target to build a new Children and Young People’s Hub.
The new hub will be a dedicated space to support around 100 children and young people each year who live within our emergency refuge accommodation. It will provide a sanctuary for the young people to relax and socialise, helping them recover from the trauma of domestic violence and abuse.
The project will involve a major refurbishment of an existing building on site, including installing a first floor, a new kitchen, a new heating system, accessible entry and toilets, a sensory area for under five-year-olds, and a teenage zone for the older children.
Building work is set to begin in April 2025. You can follow us on social media to stay updated with the build progress, or for more information on the project you can email [email protected].
