Children and Young People’s Domestic Violence Workers (*Female)
Fixed-Term – March 2026
£26,451 per annum (FTE)
1 x full time position (35 hours) and 1 x part time position (21 hours)

When families are impacted by domestic abuse it can become very difficult to deal with the trauma that comes with this, especially for children. Leeds Women’s Aid (LWA) is the largest women’s charitable organisation in Leeds and provides services for victims of domestic violence and abuse, honour-based violence, forced marriage, trafficking, stalking and harassment and is the lead agency for two consortiums, Leeds Domestic Violence Service and Women’s Lives Leeds.
LWA are looking for Children and Young People Domestic Violence Workers to support children and young people in the community who have been affected by domestic abuse. The successful candidate will be expected to work collaboratively to attain the best outcomes for our service users.
You will need:
• Experience of providing structured support to children and young people
• An excellent understanding of domestic violence and abuse and its impact on individuals and families.
• Values consistent with those of LWA and a commitment to diversity and inclusion
The closing date for applications is 9am on Wednesday 12th March 2025 with interviews being held week commencing 17th March 2025.
