Family Court Pathfinder IDVA (Female*)
12 month fixed-term initially
£27,898 – £28,898 (FTE) per annum, depending on qualifications and experience
Various hours availble – 22.5 hours over 3 days, 30 hours over 4 days of full-time at 37.5 hours over 5 days.
About the role
This role will play a crucial role in supporting individuals, families and children through the family court process as part of the Pathfinder programme. Working as part of a strong multi-agency team across the courts of West Yorkshire, you will ensure the voice of the survivor informs every stage of the process. Using a client-led and trauma-informed approach, this role provides high-quality advocacy support to survivors of domestic abuse.
About you:
We’re looking for somone who is organised, process driven and able to work with strong attention to detail. You will also have experience of partnership working with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
Someone who possesses tact, diplomacy and negotiation skills. A fantastic communicator and someone who can prioritise and problem solve effectively, whilst being resilient under pressure.
Our ideal candidate will have experience of supporting individuals who have experienced domestic abuse, will be an excellent listener as well empathic and non-judgemental in their approach.
We’re looking for candidates who are able to work with initiative, have a high level of self-motivation with a “can-do” attitude but who can recognise, work with and develop the strengths within a team.
Flexibility and adaptability will be required as, whilst being based in one of the Partnership areas, you will be expected to travel and be able to cover all locations when necessary.
