Independent Domestic Violence Advocate (*Female)

Salary £27,865 p.a. 

Full-time (35 hours per week)

The closing date is 10 am Monday 12 February 2024; Interviews will be held Thursday 22 February 2024.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Independent Domestic Violence Advocate (IDVA) to join our team.

As an IDVA, you will provide specialist support and advocacy to survivors of domestic abuse, helping them to access the right services and support they need to move forward with their lives. Have you got

If you are passionate about supporting survivors of domestic abuse, and have the skills and experience we are looking for, we would love to hear from you!

You will need:
• An understanding of IDVA work
• Experience of providing high quality support to vulnerable individuals and families
• Experience of working collaboratively with colleagues and services, to deliver a coordinated response to domestic abuse
• An understanding and experience of working in multi-agency settings
Leeds Women’s Aid (LWA) is the largest women’s charitable organisation in Leeds and provides services for victims of domestic violence and abuse, honour-based violence, forced marriage, trafficking, stalking and harassment and is the lead agency for two consortia, Leeds Domestic Violence Service and Women’s Lives Leeds
