The Big Give Campaign:
Double your Donation for our Online Chat Service!
From midday Wednesday 8th October to midday Wednesday 15th October, donations made via the Big Give portal for our online chat service will be doubled – meaning your contribution will go twice as far!
Through the Big Give, we’re hoping to double our target of £5000 to £10,000, which would fund an incredible 500 hours of support through the online chat service!

About our Online Chat Service
Since the COVID-19 pandemic, the need for digital support has grown. Many women are unable to safely call for help, and half of those using our service said they didn’t feel safe using the phone. Our online chat service, available Monday to Friday between 1pm and 4pm, with 24/7 secure messaging, provides a safe and discreet way to reach out. Staffed by experienced Domestic Violence and Abuse Support Workers, it offers vital help for women and families facing complex and often dangerous situations.
Over the five years it has been running, there has been almost 1,600 contacts for support through our online chat service. Your support can ensure the service is there to help victim-survivors for years to come.
Funds raised through the Big Give campaign will ensure women have a safe line of communication, access to personalised support, and, where needed, emergency refuge accommodation.

How to Get Involved
• Make a one-off donation through the Big Give portal during campaign week – information below!
• Post on social media and hare the campaign link with family, friends, and networks
• Host a small coffee morning or bake sale with friends and family
• Organise a sponsored walk, run, or personal challenge
• Run a raffle, quiz night, or sweepstake at home or in your community
How to Donate
• Mark your calendar for 8th–15th October and save the campaign link: Big Give campaign page.
• Wait for the campaign to launch – the donate button will appear on the page during campaign week.
• Choose your payment method: debit card, credit card, or Apple/Google Pay.
• Have your 3D secure card details ready before donating.
• Donating £500 or more? You can use the BACS option, but set this up early – late BACS payments will not be matched.
Collecting cash donations? Either:
• Contact [email protected] to arrange collection/drop-off, or
• Pay it into your own account and donate it through the Big Give portal during campaign week.
Please Note: Only use the Big Give portal. Do not donate via LocalGiving, JustGiving, or direct bank transfer, as these will not be matched.
