Leeds Women’s Aid announces that domestic abuse specialist and educator, Sarah Butters, is joining the team as charity ambassador.
Sarah is a national domestic abuse trainer and delivers domestic abuse training sessions to criminal justice professionals across the UK. She is also a domestic abuse educator, working in schools, universities and community groups to raise awareness about coercive and controlling behaviour. Sarah is Chair of the North and West Yorkshire Magistrates’ Association and sits on the West Yorkshire Bench. Nationally she is a Trustee of the Magistrates Association and sits on their Adult Crime Committee as the National Domestic Abuse Link.
